Associate, Fund Administration (Interns) | Juniper Square

This is a part-time internship at Juniper Square, located remotely for applicants in Florida, Illinois, and Indiana. Juniper Square builds a platform that unifies technology, data, and fund administration services for private markets, serving as an Operations Partner for over 2,300 General Partners. The company has $300B+ under administration, 700,000+ Limited Partners on its platform, and over 1,000 employees. This role is crucial for an intern to join the Fund Administration team and help expand Juniper Square’s service offering, contributing to its mission of transforming fund administration in private markets and learning from experienced professionals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Perform accounting and analytical reporting duties within a team to ensure client and investor deliverables are prepared and completed timely and accurately.
• Financial Statements: Assist with preparing fund financial statements supporting schedules.
• Process Improvement: Participate in team discussions on fund accounting process improvements.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile reports from different systems for consistency.
• Audits: Assist with annual audits, including preparation of related schedules.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Juniors and Seniors in college working towards graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Student career level with a strong academic foundation in financial accounting.
• Skills: Good analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; deadline-oriented and capable of completing assigned work within a team setting.
• Bonus: Preferred programs of study include business, finance, or economics with a strong academic foundation in financial accounting; interest in an accounting role; passion for financial markets and a desire to use technology to improve business operations.
