What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Support finance and controlling (FICO) functions, including budgeting, cost center accounting, and variance analysis within a corporate environment.
• Cost Analysis: Collaborate with finance and costing teams to analyze operational cost drivers and propose data-backed improvements.
• Process Improvement: Assist in documenting and streamlining finance and costing processes, ensuring alignment with ERP systems like SAP ECC or SAP CFIN.
• AI Contribution: Contribute to AI improvement initiatives by supporting model training, data cleaning, and the automation of financial reports or tasks.
• AI Use Case Identification: Help identify practical use cases where artificial intelligence and automation can be applied to optimize finance and cost scenarios.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Data Science in the United States.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required beyond current enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s program. Interns must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite and be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Critical thinking to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions; organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards; collaborative communication to convey ideas, share information, and provide project updates to team members.
