What You’ll Actually Do
• Fixed Assets: Support the lifecycle of fixed assets, performing periodic cycle counts, verifying asset tags, and reconciling records to the fixed asset register.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor capital project finances by tracking spending against budget, reviewing supporting documentation, and following up on project status.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain fixed asset reports, including updates to the asset register and support for month-end and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Disposals: Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and accounting treatment for asset disposals and retirements.
• Capitalization: Coordinate with project teams to place completed assets into service, validating their readiness for capitalization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate, graduate, or professional student in good academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) pursuing a degree in business or finance. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, as no sponsorship is offered.
• Experience: Must have completed at least 12 credit hours in a related major or coursework.
• Skills: Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); effective verbal and written communication.
• Bonus: Experience with data analysis.
