The Tone:
Exyte’s Engineering Interns work directly with experienced personnel to advance manufacturing, new product design, and research and development. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, enhancing operational performance, and developing new products like chemical ampoules and sensors.

The TL;DR
• Role: Engineering Intern
• Mission: Support Manufacturing, New Product Design, and Research & Development initiatives.
• Tech Stack: GD&T standards, P&IDs, MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Lean manufacturing methodologies, Signal processing

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Initiatives: Work alongside experienced engineers to advance manufacturing, new product design, and R&D.
• Improve Efficiency: Design and implement manufacturing processes and equipment to boost production efficiency.
• Develop Systems: Create jigs, fixtures, and automation systems to enhance overall operational performance.
• Generate Designs: Create and update 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using GD&T standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: College Freshman or older, pursuing an engineering degree.
• Experience: Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook; experience setting, communicating, and achieving goals.
• Skills: GD&T standards, P&ID development, data analysis, signal processing.
