Intern, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR)

As an Intern within our Infra & Tech Services division of the IT department, you will support our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) efforts—helping ensure the company can continue operating during unexpected disruptions. In this role, you’ll contribute to our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process by validating information across teams, documenting critical processes, and assisting with the configuration of our enterprise resilience tools. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments, gaining exposure to how technology, operations, and risk management work together to keep the business running smoothly.

What you will do:

• Support the end-to-end Business Impact Analysis process, ensuring departmental data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Gather technical and operational requirements from various business units to identify critical recovery time objectives (RTOs).
• Assist in the administration and configuration of our dedicated Resilience/BCMS tool to streamline reporting and tracking.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation for Disaster Recovery plans and resilience workflows.
• Participate in meetings with cross-functional leads to communicate the importance of resilience and gather feedback on continuity strategies.

What We Are Looking For

• A genuine passion for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR), with a curiosity for how IT infrastructure supports organizational stability.
• Technical Proficiency in data organization and an interest in learning enterprise GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) or Resilience software.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a desire to learn enterprise-level support tools, security protocols, and infrastructure standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, especially when interviewing stakeholders about their business processes.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Solid time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus.
• Open to rising seniors in high school, undergraduate, or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited institution.

Internship Program Eligibility

• Open to high school rising seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
• Must not have graduated prior to March 2026.
• Must be able to commit to the full 10-week program, working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays, for a total of 40 hours per week.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Must be able to commute to the internship location for the duration of the program.
• Must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

What We Offer

• Paid internship ranging from $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on education level.
• Hybrid schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday, remote on Fridays.
• 10-week duration (Summer 2026) | 40 hours per week | June 8th – August 14th
