The Tone:
This is a Full-Time Internship at Gowan Company, located in Yuma, AZ (Headquarters) or other global locations. Gowan Company is a global agriculture company that provides innovative solutions to agricultural challenges. This role offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional office setting and build practical workplace skills. Interns will contribute to critical projects that enhance how teams within a global company stay organized, communicate, and complete their work behind the scenes.

The TL;DR

• Type: Full-Time Internship (30 hours/week)
• Location: In-person, Yuma, AZ (Headquarters) or various Global Locations

• Team: Reports to Assigned Department Lead / Project DUO Program Manager
• Mission: To support projects that improve how teams stay organized, communicate, and complete their work while building practical workplace skills.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare necessary materials for departmental activities.
• Document Management: Assist with the creation, editing, formatting, organization, and entry of data and documents to maintain information systems.
• Project Assistance: Participate in process mapping, update internal tools, collect and analyze data, and help prepare presentations and progress reports.
• Team Coordination: Support internal communications, facilitate onboarding and offboarding steps, and coordinate with various internal teams for project needs.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: Engage with other interns and collaborate with multiple departments to understand broader company operations and improve systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently enrolled in University/College.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with professionalism in an office setting, comfort in a collaborative environment, and capability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
• Bonus: Coursework or experience related to project management, organizational systems, or administrative support; basic understanding of or interest in project management principles; experience with documentation, organizing information, or multi-step workflows; familiarity with process improvement concepts.
