Shared Services Accounting Intern | Lennox

• Mission: Support accounting process innovation initiatives by applying AI-driven solutions and automation to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance data accuracy across business units.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP (preferred), AI tools and technologies

What You’ll Actually Do
• Innovate Accounting Processes: Support process innovation initiatives within the Shared Services General Ledger (GL) Accounting team.
• Streamline Workflows: Utilize AI-driven solutions and automation to streamline existing accounting workflows.
• Improve Efficiency and Accuracy: Enhance operational efficiency and improve data accuracy within accounting processes.
• Drive Agile Processes: Promote and implement more agile accounting processes across multiple business units.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing.
• Experience: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; foundational understanding of accounting principles through introductory coursework; experience creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong work ethic with a demonstrated willingness to learn; positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
• Bonus: Previous internship, work, or project experience using Excel for data analysis or reporting; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems; exposure to AI tools and technologies used to improve business processes; demonstrated leadership experience through various activities.
