This is a full-time summer internship, from May to August 2027, located in St. Louis, MO, at Ameren. This Finance/Internal Audit Intern role supports Ameren Services, a division of nearly 1,400 employees providing essential administrative functions across business planning, financial support, human resources, and more, to Ameren Corporation and its affiliates. What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze and explain differences between budget and forecast figures.
• Update: Update existing schedules essential for annual labor rate calculations.
• Assist: Assist with the preparation of budgets as necessary.
• Document: Prepare and organize procedural documentation.
• Review: Review monthly financial accruals for accuracy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be a current graduate or undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or an MBA from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Demonstrated good understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and teamwork capabilities.
• Bonus: A GPA of 2.5 or higher is preferred.
