## Job Description:
Internship Program: Athena is offering a paid internship program for college students and recent graduates across various departments:
• Events & Experiences
• Integrated Marketing & Account Management
• Optimization & Reporting
• Corporate Communications
• Project Management
• Creative Agency
Responsibilities:
• Understanding the company: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Athena’s brand, customer base, product goals, and all aspects of its service offerings.
• Project Ownership: Accept designated business-focused projects, conduct research, propose ideas and solutions, and present the final project during the internship.
• Client Engagement: Interact with customers or clients, provide services, and offer suggestions for improving customer service and internal processes.
• Software Proficiency: Learn and become proficient in internal software systems.
• Report Creation: Assist in creating client reports.
Skills and Experience:
• MS Office Proficiency: Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical Thinking: Strong critical-thinking abilities.
• Time Management: Effective time management skills.
• Organization: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
• Education: Current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Leadership: Experience in leadership roles through extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and/or sports teams.
• Marketing & Social Strategy: Exposure to marketing and social media strategy principles.
• Analytics: Experience with business analytics and KPI reporting.
• Excel Expertise: Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA, etc.
• Project Management Software: Experience with MS Project, Airtable, or other project management software.
Program Details:
• Duration: The paid internship program runs three times a year for nine weeks each.
• Hours: Interns work in person for 20 hours a week, preferably on a consistent schedule.
• Location: Internships are an in-person experience.
