Job Description:

Nationwide Financial offers a 12-week internship program (May – August, 40 hours/week) across various roles, including Project Management, Operations, and Sales. The program provides interns with:

High-impact, high-profile assignments: Interns will contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact Nationwide’s operations and business objectives.
Professional development: Participants will attend learning sessions led by key business leaders, receive mentoring from experienced professionals, and engage in job shadowing opportunities.
Competitive compensation: Interns will receive a competitive hourly wage within the national range of $21 – $50, depending on factors like experience, location, and role.
Networking opportunities: The program fosters connections with fellow interns, team members, and senior-level executives, creating a valuable network for future career development.
Team-building experiences: Interns will participate in various team-building activities, fostering collaboration and camaraderie.
Periodic company-paid travel: The program includes visits to the Columbus, Ohio office throughout the 12-week duration.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree within 2-3 semesters of graduation.
• Understanding or interest in the financial services industry.
• Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities.
• Strong academic record (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred).
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer focus skills.

Important Note:

• Nationwide does not currently participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.
• Sponsorship for qualifying positions is determined based on business needs and budget, typically not available for entry-level roles.

• The position can be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.
