The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Execution: Perform all aspects of assigned projects or work in progress, actively applying knowledge gained to future projects and tasks.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a solid understanding of the professional work environment, ensuring punctuality and demonstrating a positive attitude towards colleagues, clients, and the firm.
• Client Interaction: Efficiently respond to all inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate information to support project needs and client satisfaction.
• Goal Achievement: Strive to consistently attain specific goals and objectives established by direct supervisors, demonstrating commitment and progress.
• Company Knowledge: Develop a foundational understanding of Myers and Stauffer’s diverse range of services to effectively contribute to the firm’s operations.
• Computer Proficiency: Gain and apply proficiency in relevant administrative programs, spreadsheets, word processing applications, and internet research tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an Entry-Level position for an Intern currently working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
• Experience: Candidates should demonstrate active participation in student organizations and possess prior work experience. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 is also preferred for this role.
• Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates must also be well organized.
• Bonus: Ability to effectively multi-task with strong planning and efficiency, manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments, and work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
