What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Contributions: Execute department-specific assignments and engage in projects directly aligned with Golden 1’s business needs, contributing to tangible outcomes within your assigned unit.
• Professional Growth: Participate in a structured curriculum of professional development workshops designed to build and refine skills essential for a career in the financial services industry.
• Network Building: Actively seek out and utilize networking opportunities to connect with Golden 1 leaders and team members across various departments, fostering professional relationships.
• Capstone Presentation: Collaborate with a group on a culminating capstone project, applying learned skills and insights, and presenting the final project outcomes to senior leadership.
• Industry Immersion: Gain real-world experience, support, and guidance to develop a comprehensive understanding of credit union operations and the broader financial services landscape.
The Must-Haves
• Background: You must be currently enrolled as a full-time student, as defined by your educational institution, and possess a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher. This role requires you to be of Junior or Senior standing in the upcoming Fall semester.
• Experience: A demonstrated interest in actively learning about the financial services industry is essential, along with a proactive desire to contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Skills: Strong foundational abilities to successfully execute department-specific assignments, work effectively within a group on collaborative projects, and clearly present project outcomes and insights to leadership.
