Job Description:
Job Title: Intern
Department: Media Network, Licensing & Entertainment Department
Location: This is an in-person, 40-hour-a-week internship based at the Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX. Typical working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Duration: Spring semester
Compensation: This is a paid internship. Please note that it will generally not qualify for college credit, though exceptions may apply.
Role Objective: As an Intern within the Global Licensing, Media & Entertainment division, your primary objective will be to support efforts in leveraging the CEC brand to generate incremental revenue and value through Media Network partnerships and various licensed opportunities.
Learning Opportunities: This internship is designed for professional growth and development, offering comprehensive learning experiences in:
• DOOH Media and Co-Branded Promotional Programs: You will learn how to pitch and execute these programs, including proposal assembly, inventory valuation, creative development and review processes, and the requirements for recaps.
• Brand Licensing Fundamentals: Gain insight into category overviews, creative collateral development, contract negotiations, fee and royalty structures, and the various categories within brand licensing.
• Content Development and Production: Learn the fundamentals from ideation through production, encompassing audio/visual elements, show FX, and programs involving costume characters and puppets.

General Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
• Conducting research on brand campaigns relevant to the CEC demographic.
• Identifying potential partners and campaigns, and contributing to the Media Network’s lead database.
• Actively participating in team meetings and contributing creative ideas for partner programs, sales proposals, and confirmed promotions.
• Assisting in the development and execution of partner promotions.
• Providing support to the Entertainment division for venue character programs and video production, which includes basic editing, show FX programming, testing, file duplication, and archiving.
• Performing competitive analysis and presenting findings to CEC Leadership.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in Licensing, Sponsorship, and Promotions.
• Possesses the ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong aptitude for Excel.
• Exhibits excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Possesses solid business acumen.
