Job Description: Internship at Advantage Capital:
Advantage Capital offers internships across various departments, including small business impact investing, low-income housing financing, accounting, human resources, marketing, and impact reporting. The internship program is designed to provide a unique and personalized experience, allowing interns to collaborate with experienced professionals, work on real-world projects with measurable impact, and build professional connections with mentors.
Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will contribute to significant projects, potentially including:
• Collaboration on diverse projects: Working on initiatives that align with the company’s mission.
• Data analysis: Mastering data gathering, sorting, and analysis.
• Financial modeling: Contributing to internal investment strategies and crafting financial models.
• Portfolio company monitoring: Supporting senior team members in overseeing portfolio companies.
• Special projects: Leading other projects based on departmental needs.
Intern Program Features:
• Immersive orientation: A two-day orientation to connect with leaders, peers, and fellow interns.
• Performance reviews: Regular feedback to support growth during and after the internship.
• Mentorship: Opportunities to connect with Advantage Capital leaders through sessions, presentations, and virtual networking.

Requirements:
• Graduation Date: Expected graduation between May 2025 and May 2026.
• Proficiency: In Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: An inquisitive mind, interest in impact investing and legislation, knowledge of best business and finance practices, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for local, state, and federal legislation (though not required).
• GPA: A minimum 3.5 GPA is required for St. Louis investment team internships.
