About the Company:
The company, Inspired Closets, is seeking an intern for a six-month position at its Oakbrook location. They are looking for someone passionate about customer service and interior design to join their team.
Job Description:
This is a six-month internship focused on client interaction, design collaboration, and administrative support within the interior design industry, specifically for storage solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Client Facing: The intern will directly interact with clients via phone, online, and in-person, welcoming them, understanding their needs, and answering their questions. They will assist designers in client meetings, contributing to the creation of storage solutions and client presentations. Attendance at industry events is also expected.
• Administrative Duties: This role includes coordinating client consultations, managing the client relationship management (CRM) system, tracking client data, providing support to the Sales Manager and design team, and completing various administrative tasks as needed.
• Showroom Support: The intern will help prepare and support showroom marketing and networking events.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask, adapt priorities, and take initiative.
• Excellent computer skills (design program experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn new software is essential).

Experience:
Applicants should be pursuing an associate’s degree, preferably in interior design, and have at least two years of experience in administrative roles, marketing, sales, customer service, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
