The TL;DR

• Mission: This role ensures product quality and customer satisfaction by inspecting, tracking, and preparing products for shipment.
• Tech Stack: XRF equipment, MS Office, various shipping software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Relations: Interact with both customers and co-workers in a friendly manner, understanding product needs and translating them into workable specifications for teammates.
• Product Quality Assurance: Receive, inspect, and rack customer products, performing visual inspections of finished items to ensure proper coating and quality, including learning de-fixturing techniques.
• Data Management & Measurement: Accurately enter customer order information into computer systems, post shipping quantities, and precisely document coating thickness using XRF equipment.
• Shipping Operations: Pack customer parts for shipping and efficiently utilize various shipping software.
• Operational Excellence & Safety: Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, serve on the monthly Quality Council, cross-train in different departments, and maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all prescribed safety regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Proficiently order supplies via the internet and have experience utilizing MS Office applications. The role also requires the ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Skills: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, high energy, and a detailed-oriented approach to tasks. Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills and maintain a positive attitude.
• Bonus: Previous knowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.g., drills) is preferred but not required, along with a willingness to work overtime when necessary.
