What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Prepare and coordinate diverse mail projects for machine insertion and final fulfillment.
• Machine Operating: Operate high-speed Bell and Howell and Pitney Bowes inserting machines using barcode scanning and camera validation.
• Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks, verifying job accuracy and adherence to USPS compliance standards.
• Postage & Logistics: Apply and reconcile correct postage for all mail, including international shipments, and ensure proper sorting, traying, and palletizing.
• Maintenance & Documentation: Monitor equipment performance, conduct basic maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate daily documentation and reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professionals with a High School Diploma or equivalent experience, eager to learn new skills.
• Experience: No prior mail or machine operation experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills:
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to meticulously follow detailed written instructions and job tickets.
• Capability to work effectively in a production environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 45 lbs.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of collaborating with a team while also working independently.
