About the Role
The Infrastructure Delivery Platform Team is a central platform team within the Systems Department, providing reliable, convenient, and unified resource and infrastructure service capabilities. This internship offers students hands-on experience in building ByteDance’s global infrastructure digital platform, undertaking backend development for business operation systems in procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, IDC operation and maintenance, and cost management.

What You’ll Do
• Undertake backend development for business operation systems in procurement, delivery, planning, asset management, IDC (Internet Data Center) operation and maintenance, cost management, etc.
• Execute full cycle development, including requirement analysis, solution design, technical feasibility studies, code implementation, and unit testing
• Timely respond to and resolve critical live issues or production emergencies

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are able to commit to working for 12 weeks in 2026.
• Are a final year student or graduating with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Are passionate about programming with solid coding capabilities and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Are proficient in one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Java, Go, C/C++, etc.

Bonus Qualifications
• Are experienced in the use and optimization of MySQL and Redis, with solid knowledge of Linux systems, TCP/UDP, HTTP protocols, etc., and take the initiative to understand the source code implementations of mainstream frameworks
• Have exceptional learning agility, strong sense of responsibility, and proactive mindset
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45.

• Receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
• May be eligible for housing allowance if not working 100% remote.
