Job Title: Informational Technology (IT) Intern

Job Summary:

The Informational Technology (IT) Intern will become an integral member of the Dynamic IT Team, responsible for executing day-to-day tasks within the technology department. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining, protecting, and continuously improving our company’s technological infrastructure and supporting our numerous diverse employees across all regional offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware & Software Installation: Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, and printers on users’ premises. Load appropriate software packages including operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
  • End-User Support: Provide telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users in all regional offices, ensuring professional, courteous, and punctual service.
  • Coordination & Communication: Coordinate activities with network services and information systems groups. Provide timely updates, status reports, and completion information to managers and/or users via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.
  • On-the-Job Learning: Engage in on-the-job learning regarding network, phone system, and computer maintenance.
  • User Training: Support user training on an as-needed basis.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by any or all IT Team Members.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or currently in pursuit of one is required.
  • Experience: Related education in computers/networking, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with technology and good working knowledge in Windows OS, PC Hardware, Printers, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Learning & Improvement: High motivation to learn and continuously improve yourself.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and multi-task with respect to projects, support calls, etc., on a daily basis.
  • Problem Resolution: Strong follow-up skills to ensure closure on issues.
  • Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively under supervision while also resolving issues independently based on project/company standards.
  • Communication: Open communication is a must; willingness to ask for help, utilize training, and guidance. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Teamwork & Proactiveness: Ability to work as a team player and interact well with others; willingness to assume increased responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits:
