The Internship Program:

The Internship Experience:

Job Summary:

The Raymond James Information Technology Summer Internship Program offers a comprehensive learning and professional development experience. Interns gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and gain insight into the various technology professions available within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize skills gained through training and experience to assist with specific projects within an assigned functional area.
• Adapt procedures, processes, and techniques to apply to more complex assignments.
• Resolve routine questions and problems, escalating more complex issues to a higher level.
• Participate in community service involvement for personal and professional growth.
• Contribute to team projects that produce tangible outcomes for the business.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college degree seeking program pursuing a degree in disciplines related to Information Technology or Business (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of data analytics, software development, or information security (preferred).
• Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and use required software applications.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining effective working relationships.

Eligibility:

• Junior or senior standing candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology-related discipline.
• Graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026.
• Legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).

Location:

• Hybrid position – St. Petersburg office.
• No travel required.

Compensation:

• CO, NY, CA, WA (based on Education, Work Experience, and Geographic Location) 32.00
