Job Description: Information Technology (IT) Intern

As part of Active Minds’ Operations team, the IT Intern will provide vital support to the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes working with databases (Salesforce and others), implementing, configuring, and administering new and existing technologies. The intern will report directly to the VP of Technology and contribute to projects aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and various team initiatives. The role offers in-depth experience with Salesforce, ClickUp (project management software), technology and information security, and other organizational technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing work requests for digital form creation and manipulation, including automated response entry (syncing) with Salesforce (CRM).
• Creating reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
• Assisting with database audits and cleanup.
• Supporting the launch of ClickUp (project management software).
• Supporting the re-launch and re-configuration of digital asset management systems (DAMs).
• Assisting in drafting IT policies and procedures.
• Completing special projects as assigned.
• Collaborating with individuals across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated interest in an IT career, preferably with a degree in IT, Database Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Project Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in email, Slack, and technical documentation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Collaborative team player and motivated individual.
• Openness to learning new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs.
• Experience managing Google Workspace.
• Experience managing cloud software (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Experience with SQL or programming/scripting languages.

Internship Details:

Dates: June 2nd, 2025 – July 25th, 2025 (remote)
Hours: Minimum 20 hours/week, Monday-Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST.
Stipend: $1,250 per month.
