Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Intern | Motom, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a hybrid internship at Motom, Inc., located in Manhattan, New York. Motom provides white-label social commerce solutions, specifically its Anchor product, to major retailers such as Sephora, Macy’s, and Chewy. The company helps these brands enhance creator engagement and conversions by offering tools like auto-generated storefronts, real-time performance data, and integrated affiliate solutions. This role is essential for supporting the company’s creators, advancing brand initiatives, analyzing key performance metrics, and enhancing Motom’s overall social media presence within the evolving social commerce landscape.

• Mission: Support the Partner Strategy & Execution team in managing creator partnerships, optimizing affiliate marketing efforts, and contributing to overall startup operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Meeting Coordination and Documentation: Prepare materials for creator and client meetings, actively participate, and accurately summarize discussions and action items.
• Content and Project Management: Maintain comprehensive content calendars and meticulously manage execution timelines for various initiatives.
• Performance Analysis and Insights: Pull relevant performance reports, monitor industry and platform trends, and formulate data-driven insights to inform strategy, including tracking affiliate performance to identify top creators for spotlights.
• Data Management and Resource Development: Ensure all creator and brand information is accurate and current through data maintenance, and assist in creating case studies by gathering data and visuals.
• Creator Research and Community Engagement: Research, vet, and organize creator profiles to support onboarding and outreach efforts, alongside active social media monitoring, community management, and content creation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A college senior or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, demonstrating a strong interest in the creator economy, influencer marketing, and the evolving field of social commerce.
• Experience: Familiarity with major social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, as well as an understanding of emerging creator platforms.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to tasks, and an eagerness to learn and adapt in a startup environment.
• Bonus: Previous experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis, and familiarity with general analytics concepts is preferred.
