The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Pier Sixty-Six Resort, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to the Food & Beverage Management team
• Mission: To provide excellent, personalized in-room dining service, creating distinctively different and authentic experiences for hotel guests, residents, and members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service: Greet guests, accurately take orders, and serve food and alcoholic beverages to ensure a personalized and exceptional in-room dining experience.
• Order Coordination: Liaise effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly, maintain high standards of quality and presentation, and deliver items in a timely manner.
• Financial Transactions: Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and room charges according to resort policies.
• Delivery & Setup: Safely transport orders to guest rooms, suites, or villas, carefully setting up trays or carts with all ordered items, garnishes, condiments, and utensils.
• Menu Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information, to assist guests in making informed selections.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire, and possess a current Food Handlers card. A High School Diploma, GED, or some college experience is recommended.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar professional setting, ideally as a well-rounded and seasoned In Room Dining Server.
• Skills: Fluent and professional communication in English (verbal and written); ability to create exceptional guest experiences; strong interpersonal skills for positive team and guest interactions.
• Bonus: Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
