The company is seeking a Hybrid Creative Video Editor Intern to join their media team. This role is crucial for growing Citizens of the Internet’s top-of-funnel reach by producing consistent, culturally relevant short-form content, directly contributing to brand visibility and engagement while gaining experience in both social media content and cinematic storytelling.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Grow Citizens of the Internet’s top-of-funnel reach by consistently creating culturally relevant short-form content.
• TikTok Edits: Create engaging TikTok edits, incorporating meme-style, culture-driven, and trend-responsive content.
• Brand Micro-Content: Produce 30–60 second narrative edits to tell brand stories.
• Documentary Snippets: Capture and edit raw and finalized behind-the-scenes documentary snippets.
• Content Repurposing: Adapt and repurpose existing content for platforms like Reels and Shorts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or aspiring professional seeking portfolio-building opportunities in creative video editing, with a strong interest in social media content creation and cinematic storytelling.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability or strong familiarity with creating diverse short-form video content for social media. Experience translating cultural trends into engaging and shareable video edits.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in video editing techniques and software.
• Ability to maintain a consistent posting cadence of 3–5 videos per week.
• Expertise in crafting high-retention edits to maximize watch time across platforms.
• A keen understanding of meme culture and relatable cultural hooks for shareability.
• Capability to contribute to audience growth and engagement lift through compelling video content.
