Human Resources Clerk | Six Flags Entertainment Corporation

The Tone:
This is a seasonal, entry-level position at Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, a leading provider of thrilling entertainment experiences. As a Human Resources Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the HR front office. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will be essential in assisting Six Flags team members and applicants, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for everyone engaging with the Human Resources department. This role is fundamental to embodying the Six Flags Mantra and delivering excellent service.

• Mission: Aid with the daily functions of the HR front office to support Six Flags team members and applicants.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruit: Support recruitment initiatives by participating in local community outreach events and staffing trips, and assisting with research, coordination, and scheduling of activities.
• Support: Manage front office operations, including monitoring for a safe and welcoming environment, answering a multi-line phone system, and directing calls appropriately.
• Onboard: Conduct interviews and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and returning team members, including guiding New Hire Orientation sessions.
• Engage: Provide support for team member relations efforts, including wardrobe appointments, retention programs, survey participation, and Guest Service-focused initiatives.
• Organize: Maintain organized and accurate seasonal employee files, support inventory counts, and manage timesheets, disciplinary document logging, and ticket management systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career individual with proven ability to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to grooming standards. Possesses the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties.
• Experience: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel. No prior specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, proven ability to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bonus: Previous theme park experience.
