HR & Operations Manager – MedInsight India | Milliman
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Milliman, located in Gurgaon, India. MedInsight, a subsidiary of Milliman, leads in healthcare intelligence, empowering easy, data-driven decision-making to improve patient outcomes and reduce waste. This dual HR and Operations role is critical as the local People Operations Manager for the MedInsight India office, serving as the on-the-ground resource and administrative backbone that ensures smooth operations and supports employees and leaders.

• Mission: Serve as the local People Ops Manager for MedInsight India, owning core HR operations and managing administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth team function.
• Tech Stack: UKG, Workday, Concur, ZingHR
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee end-to-end HR operations and day-to-day employee relations locally, providing timely and accurate information to employees.
• Support: Act as the primary local contact for MedInsight India employees and leaders, coaching managers on HR policies and performance, and guiding complex issues.
• Coordinate: Manage end-to-end logistics for office events, meetings, and visitor travel, serving as the point person for local administrative and office support.
• Partner: Collaborate with leadership and talent acquisition to support hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes, including new hire induction and compliance.
• Oversee: Manage the India performance management cycle and support annual appraisal and compensation processes, while analyzing HR data for insights and reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field, with 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or people leadership role.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience managing and coordinating local administrative operations, and working with a range of HR technology platforms such as HRIS, ATS, payroll, and workforce management systems.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Indian labor law and statutory requirements, strong experience in HR documentation and personnel records management for audit readiness, and professional fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHRi, or equivalent credential) is strongly preferred, and experience with specific platforms like UKG, Workday, Concur, and ZingHR would be an advantage.
