Area Housing Manager – Yosemite National Park | Aramark

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Aramark, located in Yosemite National Park. This Senior HR Analyst position is crucial for providing essential support to managers and employees, proactively addressing day-to-day workplace matters, and ensuring a positive, consistent employee experience.

• Mission: To serve as a primary resource for management and employees, solving day-to-day workplace matters and promoting positive employee relations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Relations Management: Resolve general employee relations issues by providing direction and strategic recommendations to all levels of leadership, ensuring fairness and consistency in policy application and practice.
• Policy and Compliance Consultation: Serve as a key resource for managers, offering expert consultation on company policies and regulatory compliance regarding various employment-related matters.
• Complaint Investigation and Resolution: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, issues, and concerns originating from the employee hotline and other sources, preparing relevant documentation using established guidelines.
• Leave of Absence Coordination: Administer and comprehensively manage all leave of absence cases, ensuring full compliance with all related company policies and applicable employment laws.
• HR Operations Support: Assist with various HR projects and initiatives as needs arise, including auditing the SharePoint site to ensure information remains current and readily accessible, and reviewing dashboard metrics to optimize efficiency and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR policies, practices, and employee relations principles.
• Experience: Requires 2 or more years of direct experience in employee relations or a closely related HR field.
• Skills: Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy; adept at influencing others on policies, practices, and procedures; effective in capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties; has a solid understanding of employment laws; capable of handling sensitive and highly personal information daily while maintaining confidentiality in a mature and insightful manner; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: Experience with case management technology is preferred; Bilingual capabilities are also preferred.
