What You’ll Actually Do
• Cleaning Operations: Execute a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the pristine condition and orderliness of guest rooms, as well as communal areas including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, ensuring all spaces consistently meet established health and hygiene standards.
• Supply Management: Systematically carry, replenish, and organize essential guest supplies such as fresh linens, towels, toilet items, drinking glasses, and writing supplies. This includes maintaining the cleanliness, tidiness, and full stock of wheeled carts and designated storage areas.
• Waste Disposal: Efficiently manage waste by emptying all wastebaskets and ashtrays from rooms and common areas, then carefully transporting the collected trash and other waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.
• Deep Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks that include dusting and polishing furniture and equipment, cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers, and washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, applying wax and polish where necessary.
• Property Oversight: Diligently observe all necessary precautions to safeguard both hotel property and guest belongings, and promptly report any identified damage, suspected theft, or found articles directly to supervisors to ensure proper handling and resolution.

• Background: A background that includes some high school education is preferred for candidates seeking this position.
• Experience: There is no prior professional experience required for applicants interested in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
• Skills: Possess fundamental skills in various cleaning methods, including the ability to operate cleaning equipment like vacuum cleaners and shampooers. This also includes proficiency in supply replenishment, waste disposal, and general organizational tasks to maintain orderly work environments.
