About The Role

Join our Silicon Validation Team as a High-Speed I/O (HSIO) Validation Engineering Intern. In this role, you will drive the development of innovative validation strategies for state-of-the-art interfaces and protocols, directly contributing to the best-in-class quality of our high-performance processor products. You’ll work within a team that champions camaraderie, a questioning validation mindset, and data-driven decisions. This role provides invaluable hands-on experience validating cutting-edge I/O interfaces using advanced equipment and tools, significantly enhancing your debugging and validation skills.

Internship Period

This is a full-time internship for Summer 2026 (May/June – August/September).

What You’ll Achieve

  • Develop and execute test cases and test plans for PCIe validation and debugging on silicon.
  • Perform initial debugging and comprehensive root cause analysis.

About You

  • Solid C Programming skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python and Unix shell (e.g., Bash).
  • Deep understanding of various CPU Architectures, including ARM.
  • Additional skills highly desired:
    • Previous (Post) Silicon Validation Experience.
    • Previous PCIe, HSIO or SerDes Experience.
    • Debugging Skills.

Education

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
