Alexander Chapman operates as a premier investment banking platform, currently undergoing active expansion within its specialized Healthcare Services practice. This critical role aims to integrate Associate-level talent, encompassing Associate 1, 2, and 3, into a lean, yet high-performing M&A group. The position offers an opportunity to immediately contribute to significant deal flow, benefit from strong mentorship, and gain meaningful, direct exposure to both clients and complex transactions from the very first day. What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute: Drive M&A transaction processes specifically within the Healthcare Services sector, supporting the team’s robust and expanding deal pipeline.
• Contribute: Play a key and active role in the strategic expansion efforts of the firm’s Healthcare Services M&A practice, helping to integrate new talent and contribute to collective success.
• Manage: Assume responsibilities for various stages of significant transaction deal flow, demonstrating a clear readiness to take on increased accountability and ownership from day one.
• Engage: Interact directly with a diverse range of clients and senior team members on transactions, benefiting from strong mentorship and gaining meaningful exposure.
• Articulate: Clearly and concisely communicate detailed past deal experience and specific responsibilities undertaken in prior investment banking transactions during evaluations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role targets Investment Banking Associates (Associate 1, 2, or 3) who possess a foundational understanding of M&A processes and a desire to contribute to a specialized sector.
• Experience: Requires 2-5 years of prior investment banking experience with a proven track record of strong M&A transaction execution across various deal stages and complexities.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to thrive and contribute effectively within an entrepreneurial work environment, coupled with the capability to clearly articulate specific deal experience and transaction responsibilities. Must also hold U.S. work authorization.
• Bonus: Preference is given to candidates with prior healthcare transaction experience, though this is not a mandatory requirement for all applicants. The team specifically seeks professionals who are eager to assume increased responsibility and accelerate their careers within investment banking.
