As the Head of Software Product Management, you will be instrumental in crafting, maintaining, and executing Formlabs’ comprehensive software roadmap, driving the user experience across all product lines, and fundamentally shaping the future of digital fabrication.

• Team: Leads a team of Product Managers
• Mission: Own the crafting, maintenance, and execution of Formlabs’ software roadmap across its firmware, desktop, IoT, and industry workflow products, critically shaping the user experience and driving growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Guide your team through the entire software product lifecycle, encompassing conception, development, launch, and successful commercialization across Formlabs’ growing portfolio.
• Influence: Drive critical decision-making across all software products, ensuring alignment and impact on interdependent hardware and material product development.
• Strategize: Conduct in-depth user research and competitive analysis to proactively anticipate market needs, identify strategic gaps, and foster Formlabs’ leadership in key industries.
• Innovate: Skillfully navigate ambiguous problems to define clear and actionable product roadmaps, leading the creation of entirely new and impactful software experiences.
• Develop: Serve as a recognized product thought leader and subject matter expert for the company, actively mentoring team members and prioritizing the recruitment of top product management talent.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Director-level leader with a preferred background in computer science or embedded engineering.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a product management role, including previous experience leading a team with 5 or more direct reports.
• Skills: Customer obsessed, forward thinking, drive processes forward with a bias for action, and able to enable a team to do their best work.
• Bonus: Experience starting a company or new product from scratch, scaling teams, leading high-performing teams, or working in the B2B tech space.
