The Position: Setting the Standard for Guest Experience
First impressions matter, and that’s where you come in! You will serve as the face of The Greystone Inn. Your interactions with our guests will have an important impact and set the tone for their entire stay.
Warm, empathetic, with a genuine interest in meeting new people, you will have many opportunities to brighten someone’s day. As a customer-oriented team member, you possess good communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, and love to have variety in your daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping guests throughout their entire stay, from arrival to departure, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Accurately inputting and retrieving information from our reservation system, assisting with new reservations, and providing clear directions and information as requested.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our hotel information, including various room types, rates, packages, and local areas of interest to enhance guest stays.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all guest requests and communication, addressing needs promptly and courteously.
Qualifications:
- Be friendly and possess a consistently smiling demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable using a computer and eager to learn new systems and software.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to stand throughout an entire shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
