Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Greets guests as they arrive, with a strong focus on personal recognition.
- Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
- Escort VIPs to their room and complete their check-in prior to arrival.
- Answers the telephone within three rings with a positive demeanor, answering questions accordingly or transferring calls as needed.
- Responsible for an assigned bank; counts bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensures all cash drops are done in accordance with proper cash handling procedures and reports all cash over/shorts to management.
- Maintains a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assists with lobby activation as needed.
- Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest Personally Identifiable Information (PPI) data.
- Follows checklist diligently when processing guest check-in or check-out. Always retrieves necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival.
- Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
- Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Front Desk Operations.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
- Minimum of a High School education.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to consistently exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
- Excellent time management skills.
