The Tone:
This is an internship at Symbiosis AI, located remotely. Symbiosis AI is a fast-growing AI startup dedicated to helping businesses transform their operations through advanced AI, automation, and modern software systems, serving a diverse base of international clients. As a Business Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in the company’s expansion by working directly with the founder and leadership team on key business development, market research, partnerships, and growth initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the practical aspects of B2B sales, client acquisition strategies, and navigating the global technology ecosystem within an early-stage company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on startups, SMBs, and enterprises across the US and various international markets to identify specific target audiences.
• Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and evaluate potential clients, strategic partners, and new business opportunities that align with the company’s growth objectives.
• Database & Outreach Management: Systematically build and maintain comprehensive prospect databases, organizing information and developing effective outreach pipelines for engagement.
• Sales Material Development: Assist in the preparation of detailed partnership proposals, engaging outreach campaigns, and essential business materials for client communication.
• Growth Strategy Support: Contribute to various growth experiments, go-to-market initiatives, and special projects related to startup growth and expansion, working directly with the founder.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or recent graduate interested in startups, entrepreneurship, business development, consulting, or the broader technology sector.
• Experience: Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in using digital tools such as LinkedIn, Google Workspace applications, spreadsheet software, and various online research tools.
• Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities; highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Bonus: A genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models, the startup ecosystem, or emerging technologies is considered a strong advantage.
