The TL;DR
• Role: Groundskeeper
• Location: Fairport, NY (In-person)

• Mission: To ensure the daily inspection, upkeep, and maintenance of hotel buildings and grounds are performed to maintain a safe, clean, and neat condition.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Upkeep: Ensure the daily inspection, overall upkeep, and maintenance of hotel buildings and exterior property to maintain them in a safe, clean, and neat condition.
• Landscaping: Execute a range of landscaping operations including mowing, painting, pruning, trimming, installing plant material, and caring for flowers and bedding plants using various garden and landscaping equipment.
• Repairs & Maintenance: Assist with performing minor electrical and mechanical repairs, repair damaged grounds areas, and notify management of any needed repairs for lighting, public areas, and parking lots.
• Guest Service & Inventory: Respond to guest requests and questions hospitably, report guest issues and complaints to ensure satisfaction, and manage the care, maintenance, and inventory of all property supplies and equipment.

• Background: No formal education required. Career level: Early Career. Core domain knowledge includes landscaping techniques and processes.
• Experience: Not specified.
• Skills: Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers; proficiency in using hand tools required for landscaping; capability to follow instructions and complete assignments; excellent time management skills.
• Bonus: Previous experience in a similar role or landscaping is preferred.
