## Graphic Design Internship

Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing team for a rewarding summer experience. Internship Dates:
This internship will run for 10 weeks, from June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.

Overview:
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will gain invaluable hands-on design experience by working alongside our Marketing team. You will support creative projects across various platforms, including digital, in-store materials, and guest-facing communications. This role offers the chance to collaborate across teams, receive dedicated mentorship, and build confidence while strengthening your creative skillset. By the end of the summer, you will have tangible real-world project experience and a clearer understanding of how graphic design strategically supports brand goals and business objectives.

### Key Responsibilities & Experiences

Core Department Experience:
• Contribute to diverse graphic design work within the Marketing team, encompassing digital assets, print materials, layouts, and visual content.
• Support key campaigns and creative projects, ensuring alignment with Coborn’s brand standards and communication goals.
• Participate in day-to-day design workflows, gaining insight into how creative work supports the broader business and enhances the guest experience.

Strategic Project Experience:
• Partner with a small group of interns (2–3) on a cross-functional design-focused project.
• Conduct research on design trends, analyze brand needs, and develop innovative creative solutions informed by business objectives and guest insights.
Present final concepts and project outcomes to the Operating Committee at the conclusion of the internship.

Cross-Functional Learning & Exposure:
• Participate in job shadows with leaders across the organization to understand the connections between design, marketing, operations, merchandising, HR, IT, and other departments.
• Visit retail and non-retail locations to observe how design and branding are brought to life in real guest environments.
• Attend cross-functional learning sessions designed to encourage collaboration and broaden business knowledge.

### Professional Development & Growth

Development & Learning Activities:
• Complete weekly learning activities, including creative exercises, relevant readings, and guided reflections.
• Join group sessions led by the Learning & Development team, covering leadership topics, featuring guest speakers, and providing business insights.
• Build core professional skills through workshops focused on communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Mentorship & Guidance:
• Meet weekly with an assigned mentor for personalized feedback, coaching, and career-focused discussions.
• Connect regularly with a department leader to review project progress and learning goals.
• Work closely with the Learning & Development team throughout the summer to support your growth and ensure a meaningful internship experience.

### Qualifications

Education and Experience:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program aligned with the internship focus area or enrolled in a Two-Year degree program.
