Job Description:

The Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Division (ISRD) is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant for Fall 2025. The student will assist Research Engineers in applying machine learning to radar applications.

Responsibilities:

• Algorithm implementation in TensorFlow/PyTorch
• Data analysis and labelling
• Python code repository development/maintenance

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD at Georgia Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Computational Science/Engineering or similar major
• Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours)
• Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience programming in Python, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch
• Experience with signal processing and/or machine learning algorithm development
