• Team: Reports to Unit Coordinator, Clinical Manager, or Registered Nurse; Supervises Nursing Assistants
• Mission: Provide comprehensive nursing care and support unit operations under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, focusing on patient comfort, recovery, and upholding patient privacy and rights through culturally sensitive practices.
• Medication Management: Administer medications safely, accurately, and timely, including PO, IM, and IV piggybacks, while diligently safeguarding narcotics and maintaining meticulous documentation.
• Clinical Procedures: Initiate and assist with the maintenance of intravenous (IV) lines, and support comprehensive admission and discharge assessments for patients.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care activities, observations, and interventions, promptly reporting significant information to the Registered Nurse.
• Collaboration & Unit Support: Assist in patient education efforts, contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the unit environment, and aid in the orientation of new employees.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, prepared for early career responsibilities in patient care.
• Experience: Entry-level experience, focused on developing comprehensive nursing skills and adhering to established care plans under direct supervision.
• Skills: Direct patient care, medication administration (PO, IM, IV), IV line initiation and maintenance, accurate patient documentation, effective communication, and assistance with patient education.
• Bonus: Demonstrated flexibility for cross-training to other units, excellent customer service skills, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and a willingness to engage in quality improvement activities.
