Graduate Medical Education Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Description: Position Summary

The Graduate Medical Education Coordinator will serve as support to all graduate student education throughout St. Joseph’s Health.

Essential Functions

  • Supports orientation, onboarding and scheduling of new Students (including but not limited to NP, PA, SRNA, Perfusion, RNFA) and visiting Residents and Fellows across the St. Joseph’s Health system.
  • Acts as the primary liaison with medical schools for clerkship students.
  • Maintains accurate records for all visiting students/residents.
  • Works closely with several departments including the Employee Health Office, Informatics, Security and various members of the Medical Staff to ensure that all student/resident/Fellow requirements are met.
  • Provides support as needed to Director of Medical Education for Family Medicine, Dental and Transitional Year residency programs.
  • Assists in the coordination of Affiliation Agreements / Program Letters of Agreement.
  • Maintains accurate schedules for IPRO and cost reporting.

Education, Training, Experience, Certification And Licensure

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Education helpful.
  • Ongoing commitment to personal growth and education helpful.
  • Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to field.

Pay Range

$24.60 – $36.90

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
