The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, located in Poway, California. This exciting opportunity allows a Graduate Intern, with a field of study in Business Management, Finance/Accounting, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics, to make valuable contributions. The role focuses on supporting an assigned functional area by assisting with day-to-day activities, applying analytical skills to investigate and resolve problems, and developing essential reports. What You’ll Actually Do
• Functional Support: Participate in the day-to-day activities of the assigned functional area, assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks.
• Problem Resolution: Apply knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve problems within the scope of the assigned duties.
• Documentation: Develop and prepare electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams, and charts as needed.
• Regulatory Adherence: Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate student actively enrolled and currently attending a recognized U.S. college or university, with a field of study in Business Management, Finance / Accounting, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.
• Experience: This internship requires full- or part-time continuing student status at an accredited U.S. college or university. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Skills: Intermediate or expert knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Data Modeling, and creating visuals; skilled in writing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Measures; proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, and Excel.
• Bonus: Ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately; ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures; basic communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals; ability to work independently or in a team environment; basic computer skills.
