We are seeking a motivated early-career engineer to join our team as a Graduate Engineer – Transportation in St. Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced transportation engineers and planners, building technical skills in roadway design, traffic analysis, and public engagement.

Responsibilities: What You Will Do

As a Graduate Engineer on our transportation team, you will contribute to a variety of roadway and intersection projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform CAD drafting and 3D design for intersection and highway improvement projects.
  • Assist with traffic and intersection capacity modeling and prepare reports summarizing results.
  • Support the development of public meeting materials, including presentation boards and visual displays.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to develop design solutions.
  • Participate in project coordination and team discussions throughout planning and design phases.

Qualifications: What You Bring

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in transportation engineering.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering by May 2026.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in transportation engineering.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous consulting internship experience.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam passed.
  • Experience with Bentley OpenRoads or similar roadway design software.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary Range: $68,800 to $110,200, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with significant experience may also be considered for a higher-level role with increased compensation.
