The Tone:
This is an internship at Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, located in Travel. The company is dedicated to shaping the future of junior golf by creating elite tournament experiences, helping young athletes reach college, and building unforgettable moments on the course. As the largest junior golf tour in the world, HJGT offers unparalleled opportunities to learn the ropes. This role matters because interns will have direct, hands-on involvement in all aspects of tournament operations, from setup to breakdown, making a substantial impact on the organization.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship

• Location: In-person, Travel

• Team: HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members, reporting to the Director, Recruitment
• Mission: Learn and actively participate in all aspects of golf tournament operations, from course setup to breakdown.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all players and their families.
• Prepare golf courses for tournaments, including marking, setting tee/hole locations, and scoreboard setup.
• Officiate tournament play, manage pace, and handle player starting and scoring.
• Support business operations through hands-on learning and development from senior leadership.
• Contribute to all aspects of tournament operations from setup to breakdown.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student actively pursuing a degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Enrollment in an accredited College/University, eligible to receive at least one (1) credit for the internship experience.
• Skills: Multitasking, Excellent communication, Attention to detail, Goal-oriented, Results-driven.
• Bonus: Knowledge of golf.
