Global Sales Market Growth and Strategy Intern | Delta

The Tone:
This is a full-time, onsite internship at Delta, located in Los Angeles, CA. Delta is a global airline leader in safety, reliability, and customer experience, recognized for operational excellence. This role is crucial to the Global Sales team’s mission of developing and supporting critical markets, directly contributing to the company’s goal of connecting the world. Interns will accelerate market development in key cities, engaging as thinkers and doers who deliver impact to customers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide recommendations on new business initiatives.
• Reporting: Generate various reports to support market insights and strategy.
• Collaboration: Work with diverse teams, including marketing, revenue management, and loyalty, to support market initiatives.
• Customer Insights: Engage with the local sales team to gather customer-driven insights for strategic planning.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled full-time pursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Experience: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA, for the full 12-week internship (either May 18 – August 7, 2026, or June 8 – August 28, 2026). Must work on a full-time basis, not taking courses concurrently. Willingness to travel up to 10% for company business.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; interest in solving complex problems and overcoming roadblocks; ability to conduct oneself maturely in a business casual environment.
• Bonus: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social Science, Math, Statistics, or another analytical field; rising junior or senior standing; fast learner with initiative and curiosity about the airline industry; ability to digest large amounts of data to support decision-making; desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving; interest in driving strategy and supporting growth in focus markets.
