Wells Fargo is seeking talent for its 2026 Summer Internship within the Global Operations team, under the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. This internship offers various pathways to gain meaningful work experience and grow expertise within a strong business infrastructure.

Business Overview

The Global Operations Early Talent Program provides exposure across multiple functions and teams, focusing on business operations, strategy, execution, and transformation initiatives. The internship encompasses several areas:

Wholesale Operations: Supports corporate clients’ financial needs globally by managing financial and securities transactions.
Shared Services Operations (SSO): Delivers core operational functions, transformation capabilities, and continuous improvement.
Consumer Lending Operations: Provides operational, account servicing, and contact center services to customers utilizing personal loan, auto loan, home mortgage, credit card, or merchant services products.
Consumer, Small & Business Banking Operations: Broad set of operational processes supporting CSBB customers.
Payments Operations: Encompasses services such as Wires Operations, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Instant Payments, Lockbox Services, Network Management, International Payments, and Payment Services Operations.
Fraud and Claims Management: Provides secure and reliable prevention, investigation, and claims services to protect customers and Wells Fargo from fraud losses.
Global Operations Strategy and Transformation: Delivers centralized support and strategic planning to Global Operations.
Global Operations Data, Analytics, and Reporting: Develops and integrates data, analytics, and reporting plans for the lines of business within Global Operations.

Program Overview

The 10-week summer internship program provides an overview of Wells Fargo, its operations, business strategies, and corporate culture. The experience includes relationship building, relevant work assignments, coaching, performance feedback sessions, and informative learning sessions with key leaders.

It targets exceptional juniors and serves as a pipeline for potential full-time Analyst Program opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ months of work experience (or equivalent).

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree candidate (December 2026 – May/June 2027 graduation).
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge and/or experience in financial services.
• Experience in data manipulation and reporting.
• BA/BS degree with an interest in any of the following: Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Technology, Communication, Accounting, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, Political Science, Pre-law, Government, Policy and Management, Computer Science, Management and Risk Management or related business field
• Data analytics experience (SQL, PowerBI, JIRA, SharePoint, Tableau, or similar).
• Experience in Agile methodology.

Job Expectations

• Ability to travel 10% or more of the time.

Pay Range

• $18.00 – $65.00 (Pay may vary)
