Job Description:

J.S. Held is offering an internship in Global Investigations, focusing on disputes, risk, and investigations. As a Global Investigations Intern, you will work with a team of experts to analyze facts and numbers and provide client service.

Job Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis: Conduct research on financial crime trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
Data Support: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data related to anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, sanctions screening, and other financial crime risks.
Documentation & Reporting: Help prepare client deliverables, including risk assessments, compliance reports, and presentations.
Process Mapping: Support the documentation and analysis of client processes and controls related to financial crime prevention and risk management.
Tool & Technology Assistance: Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of financial crime detection tools and technologies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with consultants and senior team members to support project planning, execution, and delivery.
Learning & Development: Proactively engage in learning opportunities to build knowledge in financial crime regulations, risk management frameworks, and consulting methodologies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in both your major and overall.
• Currently working towards the successful completion of courses prior to the start of your internship.
• Have general computer literacy and are proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Interest in the Forensic Accounting field.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
