Geologist Intern – Environmental Services

This is a full-time internship opportunity located in Raleigh, NC. As a Geologist Intern, you will gain valuable experience in the environmental services field.

# Responsibilities:

• Assist with various tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Respond to general questions and participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns and research solutions for project challenges.
• Analyze problems and recommend solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects assigned by managers.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.

# Qualifications:

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field from an accredited program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner with a desire to grow within the field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.

Preferred:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Involvement in campus or community activities.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience.
• Active participation in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
