General Manager | GV

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at GV, located in Las Vegas, NV with remote flexibility. GV designs, fabricates, and installs large multi-venue signage and wayfinding systems, specializing in luxury hospitality projects with global clients. This General Manager role is the energetic center that sets the intention and defines leadership for a global, high-functioning team, ensuring alignment, motivation, and operational coordination with a servant-leader mindset.

• Mission: Oversee day-to-day operations and the entire project lifecycle for complex signage projects, ensuring efficient delivery, high quality, and a service-first culture for both internal teams and clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
Operational & Strategic Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring projects move efficiently from design through fabrication, permitting, and installation while meeting all quality, budget, and timeline expectations; this includes managing financial performance, resource planning, and risk mitigation, and establishing workflows, managing resources, and implementing standardized procedures to drive continuous improvement.
Global & Remote Team Leadership: Lead and synchronize a distributed, high-performing team across multiple time zones, ensuring that remote work maintains accountability; you will coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture where individual commitment ensures each person’s part is passed off successfully, and acting as the guiding beacon to keep the team aligned on priorities, standards, and values.
Client & Market Representation: Act as a primary ambassador for GV in high-stakes presentations with global hospitality owners, architects, and developers, adeptly presenting wayfinding systems and budgets; you will strengthen client relationships, represent GV’s values and standards in the marketplace, and play a key role in business development support, contributing to strategic growth and reputation.
Cultural Stewardship: Protect and enforce the GV culture, which is straightforward, accurate, with no gossip, no water cooler talk, and no drift; you will be an exemplary model of high moral standards and integrity, ensuring that the remote-first model remains a competitive advantage for the company.
Service-First Leadership: Serve as a service-first leader to internal staff, making your primary job to support the people doing the work by removing obstacles, resolving blockers, and providing the clarity and resources they need to do exceptional work, acting as the bridge between the creative studio, fabrication floor, and the Pacific Rim team.

The Must-Haves
Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Design, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience is considered for this senior leadership role that defines the team’s direction.
Experience: Proven track record overseeing complex, multi-phase design-build or construction projects from concept to completion, with deep familiarity in custom fabrication, architectural finishes, or high-end interior manufacturing, including comfort with shop drawings, specialty metals, and installation processes; experience in luxury hospitality is crucial, providing a polished demeanor for client presentations and stakeholder engagement, alongside strong financial and business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, contract review, and vendor management.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, characterized by being straightforward and accurate without corporate theater; an energetic match for a direct, committed, and high-functioning culture that thrives on no gossip, no ambiguity, and no tolerance for mediocrity, where details are noticed and fixed without being asked; and a service-first leadership approach, believing a leader’s primary responsibility is to remove obstacles, provide clarity, and empower the team to do their best work.
