• Team: Leads all club departments and collaborates with Corporate Revenue, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Mission: Owns maintaining quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees, and exceeding guest expectations for the golf course’s overall operation.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Leadership: Lead and direct all departments, including golf operations, food and beverage, sales, merchandising, and agronomy, ensuring they achieve goals and maintain strong working relationships.
• Strategic Development: Partner closely with Corporate Revenue, Sales, and Marketing teams to create and execute programming, marketing plans, sales, and pricing strategies tailored for the club.
• Financial Oversight: Create and execute both short-term and long-term operational and financial plans for the club, monitoring forecasts and results daily/weekly and adjusting as needed to achieve established targets.
• Team Management: Responsible for the selection, development, leadership, and retention of talented staff, while also ensuring proper controls are in place and followed for accurate tracking of revenues, payroll, inventories, and expenses.
• Guest Experience & Compliance: Ensure staff consistently provides excellent guest service by reviewing guest and member surveys and feedback, determining appropriate plans of action, and guaranteeing compliance with national programs and all federal, state, and local laws.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the golf, service, or hospitality industry.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the golf, service, or hospitality industry.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability, ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines, ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and effectively builds strong relationships, leads and develops a team.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
