General Manager Development Program | MOM’s Organic Market

The Tone:
This is a full-time General Manager Development Program role at MOM’s Organic Market, primarily located in the Westchester County area and expanding regionally across our stores. As a growing organic market chain that prides itself on 5-star reviews, MOM’s is seeking individuals eager to learn and grow into leadership positions. This program is critical for developing future General Managers who will drive store success, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the company’s expansion, all while being supported by experienced leaders. • Pay: $80,000–$115,000 yearly
• Team: Develops future General Managers through one-on-one mentorship from experienced leaders within a growing retail operation.
• Mission: To equip talented individuals with the skills and experience necessary to assume General Manager roles, fostering positive impacts on store profitability and customer satisfaction across new and existing locations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• P&L Management: Make a positive impact on profit and loss management for store operations.
• Metrics Reporting: Contribute to metrics reporting and analysis to track store performance.
• Employee Development: Lead the hiring and development of high-performing store employees.
• Customer Experience: Maintain a laser-like focus on ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Hands-On Leadership: Provide enthusiastic, hands-on assistance and jump in when needed as a team player.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager career level with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management.
• Experience: At least 2 years of grocery management experience OR a minimum of 4 years in a retail management role.

• Staff Development: Demonstrated passion for hiring and fostering the growth of the best employees.
• Customer Focus: A laser-like focus on creating and maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
• Problem Solving: A solution-oriented mindset, adept at figuring out how to fix challenges.
• Operational Leadership: Enthusiasm for hands-on leadership, actively participating and assisting teams when needed.
• Schedule Flexibility: The essential ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings (as early as 4 am), late evenings (as late as 11 pm), and weekends.
