The Tone:
This is a General Manager role at ZMC Hotels, located in Independence, Missouri, specifically for the Comfort Suites. ZMC Hotels is seeking a leader to guide their dedicated team and manage all aspects of the hotel’s operations. This position is vital for motivating staff, engaging guests, and ensuring the hotel runs as an efficient and profitable business, ultimately delivering a superior guest experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Management: Oversee all hotel departments and daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, night audit, and guest satisfaction.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Provide sales leadership, market the hotel’s product and services, and implement plans to achieve profitability goals and exceed guest expectations.
• Team Development: Recruit, hire, train, supervise, mentor, and motivate top talent to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Financial Oversight: Create the hotel’s annual budget, track performance, produce and explain monthly financial reports, and work with departments to achieve financial targets.
• Guest & Property Standards: Ensure high guest satisfaction by assisting guests quickly and effectively, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the hotel.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Expertise in hotel leadership and comprehensive operations management.
• Experience: Proven ability to oversee daily operations across all hotel departments, successfully market hotel services, provide sales leadership, recruit/train/retain staff, manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and maintain strong guest relations.
